So… to get you over your Obsession, you need to understand the Freddie Krueger mythology.
For all who do not know my dear fictional friend —
Freddie Krueger is a fictional Charkater in a horror movie you basically kills people in their dreams.
Freddies are guys we get obsessed with, knowing we never gonna end up with them, even date them for a start to have a chance to actually end up with them and that is exactly what makes them so irresistibly attractive.
You are so attracted to them — that no one else is attractive to you anymore, at least not in a “Omg I think my eyes gonna fall out” kinda sense way when they just literally look at you.
We always want what we cannot have.
It similar of how you think about an item of clothing we really want but do not need – as we simply cannot afford it, yet we swing our credit card and buy it anyway and are happy for a blink moment and then be like oh shit. We could return it but we don’t want to do that either as we like that stupid Dress – we really didn’t need — but wanted.
Freddie’s are the same we don’t need them but want them even tho we know their not good for us, despite the fact they don’t want us back, as it’s a one sided crush kinda thing but we don’t care, as we like them anyway and keep them in our heart hoping for that one happy cringy ending.
Once we realise they are not into us and after we ignored that a millionth time and understand, it's bloody hopeless with them, we get ourselves a substitute Freddie to get distracted from our Freddie No1, who we are hopelessly in “Freddied with” until we realise — well that did not work so we go back to our Freddie No1, we like them so much that we want to be with them, date them, kiss them and make out with them all at the same time.
We do exactly that, yet this “relationship” only sets place in our toxic dreams until we realise we need to wake the fuck up or else how, we gonna get murdered by a false Love story and end up dead...
That is why Freddie is a myth, he could be real — but he could not be — and in most cases he is not. Trust me
— I have one and as much as I want my Freddie to like me back — he just aint — only in a “friend” kinda way —
Passion can be poisonous, if we use it the wrong way and on the wrong people.
Passion comes from deep within your soul and to use it the right way - use it on the things that are important like YOU and not on a Freddie Krueger type of guy.
Passion is lost and dies in a Freddie but is kept in you like a Flower that is about to blossom — you just need to water the right plant.
Ps; DONT WATER THE FREDDIE PLANT.
How to get over him — get yourself the Substitute Freddies until you realise that it really sucks to get murdered all the time.
